Candidate for Dawesville Electorate
Melissa Oancea is an exciting young candidate for the WAxit Party in the seat of Dawesville in the March 2021 State Election.
Melissa has worked in various fields including clothing retail sales; workforce management administration, and as an office administrator for a major home builder.
Along with her work, she is currently completing studies at the University of Western Australia towards a Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources and Employment Relations).
Melissa has always been a high achiever dating back to her school years. At St Marks Anglican Community School, she was School Captain in her final year, received the Citizenship award and an exceptional ATAR score. She was also involved with junior soccer.
Melissa offers the voters of Dawesville a candidate who is in touch with the issues of concern to young voters and young families. She knows that many people who live in the electorate of Dawesville participate in the FIFO workforce. Her experience in workforce recruitment for the resources sector gives her a particular understanding of the challenges facing the resources sector in Western Australia and the workers and their families who serve that sector.
